Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
Hit Machine Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit hitmachine.london, how we use it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law.
Who we are
Hit Machine Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us regarding this policy by email at privacy@hitmachine.london.
What we collect
We collect only the minimum information needed to run this site and respond to you:
- Mailing list sign-ups. If you subscribe for updates, we collect your email address and the date you signed up.
- Email enquiries. If you email us (for example, press enquiries), we receive whatever information you choose to include.
- Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which records anonymous, aggregated traffic data (pages viewed, country, device type). No cookies are set and no individuals are identified.
How we use your information
- To send you updates about Hit Machine if you have asked to receive them.
- To reply to enquiries you send us.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR our lawful bases for processing your personal data are:
- Consent, when you opt in to our mailing list. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests, for responding to enquiries and measuring anonymous site performance.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site and mailing list, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel Inc.).
- Our email service provider, when a mailing list is in use.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep it
We keep mailing list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. We keep email correspondence only for as long as is reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry. Anonymous analytics data is retained by our provider on a rolling basis.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data or erase data we no longer need.
- Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent.
- Object to processing or ask us to restrict it.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@hitmachine.london.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. Where this is the case, transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions recognised under UK law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted at this URL with the date it was last updated.
